Issue with sfs hoses

I ordered some coolant hoses for my n15 almera off of them and it would appear they have sent me pulsar gti-r hoses as the top hose has one end bigger than the other and the bottom hose is slightly incorrect and just touches the metal piece on the back of the fan; anyone else have this issue? I wonder if they think that the almera hoses are exactly the same as the gti-r ones and just make them the same. I will ask them monday but just seeing what other people have experienced of these

Thats normal. I dont think there is any specific almera hoses. You'll need to cut a sleeve off the standard hose the slide the new one over the top.

but I don't understand why it lists for an almera when its clearly incorrect? Its a bit bodgy having to slide hoses over other hoses. I thought that the sfs would be straight fit in that respect, otherwise I would've got the samcos with a gti-r block. And then there's the issue with other hose hitting the metal part of the fan as the hose is a different shape to the stock one

Could just be that no one corrected them and they've not test fitted. I blame Rob Fossil!

Don't blame me... I wasn't fussed it fits and doesn't leak...

Been on 2 cars now and both of my pipes have been modified for waterlines for the turbo. ;)

If your truely that fussed... Call them speak to lee (I think) and get them to make a new ones dedicated to almeras.

as said it doesn't bother me :)

Seems like thrive just slapped an Almera name on the gtir kit they already sell.

Yeah thats the thing and that's just false advertising; I only went with sfs as I thought they actually had a dedicated almera kit which goes on without messing about

Someone just needs to send them all the stock hoses from the engine to copy.

So after Rob saying he had direct fit almera hoses commissioned they are just gtir?

my car is off the road until spring next year so I may just send them my stock hoses to help them out. But yeah, they have been a bit misleading as I am almost certain they are just gti-r hoses

Rob, go to the naughty step.

I have some FSF GTiR hoses fitted. Apart from the fact i had to use a piece of OE hose to pack it out on the head inlet, they were perfect.

Was about to order some of these. Tut tut rob misleading.
indeed

As for the SFS hoses... i will be taking down my old hoses to get repilcated... then i will sort out colours and pricing...

i believe i can get a 25% discount for you lot as AOC members so far... i may be able to get more off if i pay cash and collect too... ;)

how do u think i got mine soo cheap ;)

i will keep you all posted... and will set up a GB when all is good!!

What became of the silicon hoses you were getting made then?

They are now available from SFS performance hoses... but did get much of a response...

There are loads of colours that can be made...

I just didnt have the people to do it...

I did not know that they had wacked the almera on as direct fit.

I have not had contact with them since buying mine.

I left some of my hoses to be replicated... As I had fitted GTiR hoses to mine...But it seems like that hasn't been done.

I am sorry for any confusion... But I do not work for sfs and do not have any contact with them regarding the supply of there hoses.

There didn't seem to be much of a want for them when I did he group buy... So I didn't get back in touch with sfs.

If you are unhappy please speak with them.

Can't recall you telling anyone you fitted GTiR hoses, which implies the Almera ones were fitted. Miscommunication.

Moving on, can anyone send some to SFS?
