hi all.i joined because i have just bought a 1.8 tino after having a 96 Primera 2.0 lt. for 10 yrs. a truly exeptional car...anything you can tell me about the TINO please..Its a 2005 model
 
Don't know much.....but welcome anyway! I think it's the same engine as the 'mera anyhow, and judging by the fact that mine's done over 120k I'd say they're pretty solid.

Cant really say i know much about the Tino, but the QG18DE engine itself is a very reliable motor, the main weak points are the coilpacks and MAF. But that aside it should be as good as the Primera you've had previously.

One more thing, the Tino will be like a tank compared to the Primera, as the 1.8 is a little underpowered for the size of the car :)
