...a W reg 1.5e n16 in Red. I don't expect to be doing much mods, aside from perhaps some alloys and sticking a cd player in it / possibly lowering it.

Thought I'd say hello! Will post up pictures when I pick up the car tuesday.
 
Will do when car is in my hands. Awaiting insurance documents to process road tax. Should be monday, but allowing tuesday.
 
Finally. I had a bit of trouble getting my lazy ass to be bothered taking pictures :P Not in these pictures is my engine bay. Standard, but clean. AutoGlymed most of it because it was stinkin when I got it. Looks good now.

To be honest, not looking at doing much. Mainly due to insurance, just looking to keep it clean and do little things every now and then. Nothing too massive!

I'd like to colour code, get some alloys, lower a little, MP3 player / subs, exhaust back box and maybe an induction kit. Not bothered about rushing in or anything, It's a cracking car and I'll probably be keeping it for a while.
 
Just noticed your from Scotland - where abouts in Scotland you from?

Personally i'd fork out extra for the OZ Ally wheels - they're lightweight and look shit hot regardless of how long they've been around for...

And i'm using PI Lowering springs - on the N16 lowering springs come in one lowering only... 35mm at the front and 20mm at the back

Make sure you get the right size rear springs for your car!

There are 2 sizes, you need to measure the internal diameter of the rear spring (but can`t remember what they are now :rolleyes: ).

Do a search for N16 spring sizes or summat similar, should be on here somewhere. ;)

Oh yeah, get rid of that big yellow sticker from the rear window, (sorry Paul, -he works for Arnold Clark) it looks like the "Motorway Maintenance" ones you see in the back of Astra estates @ roadworks. :P
