hey guys proud owner on a 2000 mera 1.5se bought last week :lol:
just wondering if there are any nice bodykits avaliable for a 5 door
and i need a spolier it looks crap without one. :mad:
Its got 17"s and lexus lights at mo
just wondering how much it is worth standard
i payed £1000 with 113000 miles on it and its mint
is it a good buy???????????

Insurance can be pricey yes!Just give it a few years hey then you'll have some decent no-claims :D

Few pics of my almera with Carzone frontlip, sideskirts and MS-D rearlip. During the winter this bumper is going to appear in front of my car. I have lowered my car ca. 10cm with 17" so there is a lot of empty space above the tyre.

thanks mate getting a few ideas now all i got at mo is 17"s and lexus rears where did you get that evil blue bumper from looks very nice like the seats as well looks sweet :D
 
yeah thats the first kit i ever saw when i first bought the car i thought is was cheap at only £640 for the front,back and side skirts. i dont think it would look good on a 5 door tho. wat do ya think????
is there any jap kits aroung for it :confused: :(
 
Unfortunately your limited when it comes to all almeras. There used to be a company in Australia that produced a kit for the N16...its now closed shop because he ripped a lot people off, including me out of their money, however I do think the molds for the kits were sold on to another company. Try doing a google search for "Pulsar SSS" you may have more luck with that as the aussies tend to be a bit more creative with their bodykits.
 
as far as kits go there is the one from NFS as mentioned and the carzone specials one. There is also a german kit, dont know the name of the website, Rick will be able to tell you. Theres a front bumper on ebay aswell which is quite nice. Side skirts i think you should go custum, measure the side of the car compared to other cars and go from there.

Spoilers wise go for something subtle, lip spoiler i think looks the best.

As for lowering, i know a few people who got the Apex lowering springs, i have them, rick has them aswell, theyre really good and pretty well priced aswell. They lower the car 35mm and it sits decently with 17's. I have that setup on my car.

p.s. theres two different Apex spring sizes - go for the larger diameter

The most aggressive kit is the one from MC rallying, authough, i've seen it cheaper on other sites, just keep looking around.
There is another kit from Germany that I had on my car, from a company called Postert.

It's subtle, but I thought it looked quite cool.

I've got loads of bits and bobs on my car that should be going spare soon. Front and rear bumpers, eibach springs, K&N 57i, 17" AEZ Luna wheels, Sebring back box, plus loads I can't think of at the mo.
