Just to say Hi

Just a quick message to say hi to every one.
I am picking my Almera up on Saturday, I have at the present time a Primera, so the drive should be the same hopefull. Well I will find out on saturday.
Just thought I would say hi to everyone.

Is there anything I should look out for on the almera?

Just to let you know it it a 1.5s (I know net very exciting model) but it is brand new 06 plate.

Hi mate, welcome along!

I got a 51 plate 1.5s pre-facelift mera and it is nice to drive. A bit slow up to 3000rpm but then it gets going. Need to buy an induction kit to hopefully solve this issue!

Did you go for air con or the other bits & bobs like the rear arm rest and map lights?

hi, the new mera are nice to drive. Slow, but nice none the less.

Browse the forum for the varios tuning parts if your getting them like flywheels, pulleys, exhaust, inuction kits etc

hiya mate and welcome. like most cars do the usual checks of listening for noises on start, when driving, when changing gear and when cornering look around the car for rust and crash signs.

It has Air con but other than that it is standard at the moment. I want to get some thing for it, funds permitting, will have to look into getting an induction kit, can any one point me in the right direction.

I`ve got a K&N 57i induction kit on my 2005 54 plate 1.5 SE, which gives it a nice throaty growl! (was about £90)

Got it with my wheels from www.motorsportworld.co.uk

You may find one cheaper elsewhere, but as I was getting the cheapest 17" KEI Force 10s I could find, I thought I might as well get one of these too.

There are also some nice body kits around.

Look in the N16 & members rides sections for more info on what can be done.

Picked my car up last Saturday, and I am well pleased with it, :lol: got some Almera mats for it of ebay, but am looking for more bits for it soon.
