Key Fobs Help!!!

I have a 2001 nissan almera. I'm having trouble with my keys. I was using the same key all the time until yesterday when it stopped working. Since then I used the 2nd key and the button worked once and now that has stopped working too. I have gone through the programming process and managed t re-programme both of the keys but still when I press the buttons on the key they don't work. I can use the key no problem in the door and the car starts ok, but would like to be able to lock the car via the button again. Anyone have any ideas on what it might be? Any help would be appreciated.

Its probably the micro-switches in the keyfob they are notorious for breaking (crap design), if your good with electronics you could take them apart and fix, but its VERY fiddly job... just do what I did get a couple of fobs off ebay & then just reprogram them to your car. P11 114 primera keyfobs will work on a N16 too, as I have used some I had for my old primera on my N16 almera. You can get them new for the stealership but they're about £60+the VAT. I just email some guy that was braking a primera on Ebay & I got 2 fobs for £25 delivered off him.

P.S. don't worry if the button/fob looked knackered/worn you can get a fob repair kit from nissan for like £5 which contains new buttons/casing, the important bit is that the switches work
