key fobs

bit of a noob question really but here goes.

just bought an n 15 gti and got no key fobs can i get a new key fob from anywhere or will i have to get them from nissian ??

says they are 7726 model though so i don't know if they will work cos mine are 7727, look identical though. I'm sure someone could verify if they will work.

You will need a master fob to program other fobs to your system. If you dont have it you will need to buy a whole new alarm unit. About £350 from nissan plus i think the fobs are like £40 each. I didn't have the master fob on my old GTi and the normal fobs stopped working. So i got a clifford alarm as it was cheaper than nissan.

cant you just put an alarm unit out of a car being brocken thats got its fobs, or does the coded key then stop working?
