keyfob programming

dear all. got a replacement outcase for my keyfob. the rubber buttons where damaged. put a new battery and the little circuit board inthe new casing. does anyone know how to reprogramme the keyfob to open and lock the car. thank you very much your a lovely lot of people bye for now kev from the wirral

Im not sure
i think its holding down both buttons for 6-10seconds

ill let you in on a AOC secret though, if you hit that 'magic' search button.youu'll be shocked as to what you'll find

start with i think it depends what fob it is, wether it be for a gti and does central lockin and the alarm or just the central locking on lesser models

Dear Kevls,
There are great instructions under NATS programming if you search.
When i re-programmed mine i thought i had missed something, so re-programmed 3-4 times to get the fob to lock the car but in doing so found that i had to lock and unlock the car many times until the fob + the receiver in the car were in sinc so it worked as it should.
maybe just me but i walked around the car as i used the fob.
seems you need to do it several times almost for the NATS system to re-boot.
May work srtraight away.
