Keyfob unlocking adustment query

At present if I unlock my Almera Tino with my keyfob it unlocks just the drivers door, then if I press the unlock button again it unlocks all remaining doors.

Is there any way to reconfigure the keyfob to unlock ALL dorrs on first press?

Don't think there is, has far as I'm aware its the way the NATS is designed to work. First press unlocks drivers door, second press unlocks the remaining doors and disengages the immobiliser.

Nothing to do with NATS.

Its called city locking or something. It allows you to open just the one door incase youre alone at night in a dodgy area to stop the pikeys jumping in with you ect.

Full Service Manual. We have copies to download on this forum. I'll find the link for you.

Guess you have maybe sussed it out now, but if not all you do is press in both buttons at the same time for 5 sec's to get it into what Nissan call the " convenience mode " , i have a Tino and thats what worked me me ,you will /should have the type "B" keyfob.
