Lambda Sensor Bypassing

Darren198712

Just chillin'
I was wondering if any one knows how to bypass a Toyota lambda sensor

I did some research but no luck My mate has a Gen 7 Celica and my other mate got him a de-cat with a 2.75" piping out to the back and the ECU light is coming out and the car is going in to lean mode. (don't know how u spell lean)
I can't think of a way of bypassing it I think his lambda is a 4 wire lambda.

I assume it has a 2nd sensor after the cat. If it gets the same reading as the 1st sensor due to removal of the cat then it throws a fault, he'll need a o2 simulator to fool the ECU by supplying a different reading.

About £18 from http://www.o2sensorsimulator.com/
Thanks mark I will ask him if there is a 2nd sensor if there is I will ask him to get one of these
