Light issues

Hello there looking for some help, got to the girlfriends house to be greeted by her mum telling me she has light issues.

So its a P reg SI.

The bulbs are all fine.

The front lights dipped and indicators work are fine.

The dash lights arnt working and neither are all the side lights.

All fuses fine and both fillaments in the rear bulbs and side light bulbs fine at the front.

Is this a common issue can anyone offer me a insight?

Yes,you might find one in the boot area too,maybe behind the rear panel by the rear lights,follow the harness back,check them all if you can.
I am guessing but have seen this kind of thing before caused by bad earthing connections,usually around this time of year,cold wet damp etc.

OK, did you check the earth behind the kick panel? there probably is a couple behind the dash too.
If non of this works (you don`t find the problem) you will really now need to use a multi meter or 12v tester.
You need to locate the fuse that covers the side lights/dash lights,check at the fuse hold/box for power there.

If all of this is sounding a bit much,then you need to find someone to do it for you.
What is your rough location?
 
Check the connectors to the headlight and sidelight bulbs are not corroded. Both common n15 problems.
Earth problems are rare.
