Lights

Im looking at changing the headlight bulbs as im still running the shitty standard ones, i cant afford hid kit but i want to get some xenon bulbs any recomendations?
im also thinking of getting some led side light bulbs is this a good idea?

get some philips Head lights they are expensive but they are good. If I was you I would save up a bit and get a cheap set of HID's a lot brighter while driving at night

HID kits now start form the 150 qiud mark so save your pennies.Or Philips Power@Night range is awesome and i run them. LED sidelights are legal as long as they are displaying a white light. So no chav-spec blue ones.

got halfords super brilliance in mine, better than the originals and there not expensive, £15 each but i think there may be a buy 1 get 1 free starting soon. cant complain at them for the price, didnt see the point in paying much for bulb upgrades on the almera so these are well worth it.

dont like them blu chav bulbs.
white white white!!!!!
all cavs must die

research again.... HID kits arent alll blue, it depends on the K value of the kit you get, ranges from white to blue/purple!

and i apologise if you meant the LED sidelights lol :D

Can confirm halfords do a buy 1 get 1 free on super brilliance bulbs - just bought a pair yesterday - it works out to £15 and they're fairly decent.

lol those "expensive" sidelights arent special, all theyd have inside would be a resistor shared by 2 of the leds, the single led should also have a resistor too.

only set ive ever had was the quad led lamps, worked well though
