Volvo went sailing past me yesterday, then about 30 seconds later I smelt burnt rubber and saw a cloud ahead, pulled past him with his OSF tyre flapping around billowing smoke

He was lucky to keep it in control I think, a barge like that would have done untold damage to the surrounding area!

My mum hit a kerb one night at about 20mph when dropping me off at the pub.
She was all set to head off for the 20-odd miles back home but I insisted I checked the tyres - whilst being bombarded with a barrage of 'don't make such a fuss' comments I found a bulge like a cricket ball on the side of her offside front tyre. I'd hate to have seen the carnage caused by my mum trying to control a punto with a blowout at 80.
