i been looking on autotrader everyday to see what comes up theres a dark blue gti caught my eye £3000 99 s reg got aftermarktet wheels :( but does have new Yokohama tyres ;) 90,000miles i rang up the guy he is a dealer but works from his home i going to look on saturday, have a test drive n serious look at it seen as i have to go 70 miles but that it the colour i want and its a phase 2 which i want so its all good :D.
What you think? any comments/advice welcome
i know to look for rust on sills and arches check the alarm hasnt had it or gone wierd wondered if there was anything else. it has got quite high milage for an "S" reg any problmes with high milage on the sr20? going down with some mates so will look all around it.
 
yeh i thought the milage was a bit high hope it is motorway miles which where kind to the car i know it has only had 1 female owner from new she part ex'd the car with this guy. ill be listening very hard to engine noise playing with the gears and checking everythign twice over. its taken me since december to save up for this car so i aint buying a shed, i hope.
sure i can get him down to 2750 waving it under his nose. thats if its any good
 
I think that is pretty cheap to be honest for a GTi my car is a

99 T Reg Almera Phase 2 GX 5 Doored Red 47K Miles and i got it for 2,100 but to be honest if the car was serviced by nissan all the way then why not go for it i think my car is serviced by some next company. thats proboly the reason for my problem with my car
 
Theres also a couple on Ebay and a blue one as well.
I'm getting a GTi this weekend with high(ish) miles.Mainly motorway miles.
There is slight rust around sills but am not too fussed cause I can sort it for now and get a full respray in the near future.Plus its a real bargain ;)
I am also swapping most of my parts like stereo,alloys,strut brace,clear indicators etc from my 1.4L.

The price does seem a bit high though,shop around a bit before making a decision.
