Lower rear cross floor bar

they are really for hardcore track junkies, if your gonna go as far as strengthening the middle of the car you'd be as well putting in a roll cage... firm up the whole body... phil on your car this would be nothing but a novelty...

Ross I wasn't thinking of putting this on my car lol. I'm not stupid. Just wondered if, when combined with everything else, it would be worth $80...

i fingered you in that comment... but i really meant it as a general comment. imo its only for a car thats gonna be doing high speed corners on track, and not joe boy racer/tuner for "spirited" street use

i only know one person that has one of these on his track ready EP82, and for it to be effective i reckon you'd need all the braces underneath the car as well.

The ebay almera item is universal fitment so would probably need some fiddling to fit.

15% improvement?.......

with good engine mounts. i.e. polys i doubt the damper would do anything, my engine doesnt budge, i know its only 110bhp but still lol

by the looks of that pitroad version if that is an almera/pulsar pic the seat belt mounting looks different, as the bar is gone which the seat belt was looped around

Not wanting to hi-jack this thread, but i picked up an engine damper for an s13 a while ago, gunna do some alterations to the mounts to get it to fit, but my question is, is it advisable to mount it to the firewall rather than the suspension strut? its just that i can get it to fit on the right of the block front to back and mount it to the firewall with minimal hassle. opinions please.
