Massive green carrot balls

Howdy, name's Sam, if you're wondering about the thread name - just fancied something a bit different. Got your attention though, right?

Bought an N15 GTi about a month ago, which may well be known on here - i'll post some proper pics when i get a sec, but there's a couple below just to tease. apologies about how dirty the car is!

Someone's obviously put some ££ into it, the spec off hand is something like this:

Lowered 40mm
T1R's on the front, Maxxis on the rear
4-2-1 manifold, CAT still on, stainless Japspeed (3" single round tip) at the back.
Apexi induction - (soon to replace to standard)
Timing's been adjusted, now feels like a VTec (sorry for swearing) at 5k rpm :D
Limo tints on rear (took a while to warm to these)
Shit spray can yellow front indicators (removed immediately & replaced with clears)
Horrendous gold Almera alloys - i did buy some P11 Primera GTI alloys as a stop gap, but the PCD wasn't the same, so i'm stuck with the gold for a while. Suggestions on what i should get next welcome, i was thinking Rota Slipstreams, but given the cost of the car was so low it seems silly to get wheels that are proportionately so expensive....
De-wiper'd at the rear (obvs not the fronts, that'd be silly)
Boot lock removed
Front plate fell off (bastard neighbours reversed into it i think), could do with a new rear plate too - time to order a new set methinks...

That's about it off hand, I'm generally chuffed, i gave it a quick oil change when i bought it and (despite the shocking fuel economy) it puts a pretty big smile on my face each day!

Welcome along. If those wheels are anodized rather than painted they could be the rare(ish) Autech lightweight versions, about 1kg lighter than standard each if I remember correctly.

Not that colour gold. Autech alloys are more champagne colour.

and a fine job you did too chunky! :) thanks for all the welcomes etc, nice to hear people say it's a good motor lol, rather than the opposite :)

hi bud, welcome to th club!
did you fit that shifter bush?

glad your liking it.
after i did the timing on it it def pulls alot harder, :)

stufagti - yeah loving it mate. it does well to keep up with my manager's E46 328i. he was following me home yesterday so close on the motorway, when i popped it into third it actually made him jump LOL. not fitted yet, i've been proper lazy and not got round to it yet. something for the bank holiday weekend! was thinking about poly bushes all round too - did you say some had been done already?
