P.S - how do i edit the title of the thread. I did put the 2 new pics in the the other thread, but it didn't change the title....?
any clues?
 
i just wanted to change the title of my old thread
my other title was "Me Grill" i added 2 more pics to the old thread and wanted to change the title to "Me Grill (2 More Pic)" but it didn't change :confused:
 
Well my mate Dave at Hybrid Paintworks did it
he said it wasn't that much of a bitch to do
a bit of fibreglass and some filler, and a few days later, hey presto
had to lose the middle conecting thing tho (hard to explain) but if you take your grill off, you have (think its 5) things that hold the grill to the car, had to lose the one in the middle at the top. But it aint going nowhere, its fixed pretty tight

how much did he charge to do it? i'd like to get it done but i really wouldn't want to mesh it cause i don't want to mesh the bumper!

as for the mesh,you could use a dark mesh, or spray the mesh black
if you just left it empty, you would just have 2 horns showing (not very atractive)
 
Unless i got new carbon fibre ones!!! LOL

I think i'm gonna have to get this done! the grill that is!

Very nice - It looks almost the same as the one that I made for my Almera except I extended the plastic so that the mesh sat further back. It's currently attatched to the front of Andy's Almera as I upgraded to the VZ-R grille.
 
Where did you get your one done bud??? i really like hoe the bottom of andys is extended!

I made it myself using a standard Phase 2 grille.
I just cut the back out and cut along the top leaving about 2mm of plastic and extended the bottom by gluing some flexible plastic on, then filling the lip with fibreglass. I had to remove the middle mounting point though and hack away at the mounts a bit to get the mesh to fit.

when i had it done before, i had the black mesh bit that comes with the standard grill cut out, fillered and meashed, but left the nissan badge in the middle, which looked ok
but now with the whole thing cut out, i think it looks a lot more agressive.
and no disrepect to the people that have the MSD grill, but i prefer the deepness you get with the standard P2 grill (front the front of the grill to the mesh)
i'd have it done mate ;)
