Any idea where to get mirrors with the indicator on that are electric?

I have seen on ebay the M3 that are electric and some with indicators but not both!

Also gonna need some base plates, any ideas on companies selling these?

(also need to get into mirror for button entry!)

Cheers

no one makes base plates that actually fit the N15, theres a few that claim they do, but they're way off and will need alot of customisation mate

Hope this helps

Oh bugger!

Take it a bodyshop should be able to sort it out?

Need to get these before anything else really and get them on before it goes in

tbh a bodyshop would probs find it easier to make up there own, thats how shite the aftermarket jobbies are

Ill have to have a word then, mine aint exactly a bodyshop, more of a single person doing this for a living on the side i think!!lol

Hes good at what he does, hes got a lot to do to mine anyway hopefully!

Might stick with the mirrors then and see if i can have the little indicators put in the std ones

doesn't andrew smith have some mirrors - maybe u could ask him if you can copy his base plates

hee hee i do, made them myself,

on my third set now ant these have lasted a year, iv used, thick perspex, and moulded a side return lip bit on the window side.

it isnt easy, very tricky,

as for copying the shape, may be tricky, because they are sealed on to the car, last time i took them off they snapped, so had to make new ones, should have kept a copy of the shape really.

what you could do, is what one of ma mates has on his astra, is the base plate blended into the pillar an door, and his door pop is under the mirror, a tvr jobbie.

Yeah, that was the plan, door popper under the mirror. Suppose it would be easier to have them 'stuck' on but would need to move them.

Dont think I would be able to make a set!! Not that good really....lol

not really bothered if i get new ones or keep std, just thought its easier to buy new with indicators already in. But they are all non electric :(

Ill have a gander again....

ya dont need electric ones, mines just manual, once they are set thats it, and manuals are much cheeper, think i was £30 about 2 years ago when i fitted mine against £130 electric.

I like the electric mirrors!!LOL Dont need to reach over to move them when parking ;)

if youre putting M3 or cup style mirrors it wont matter if theyre electric or not, you cant see shit out of them compared to standard ones, they certainly wont help much when parking if youre wanting to see the curb
ive got some ganador style ones with indicators in, never bothered fitting them yet, was going to make the standard base plates fit, but i had a look at gadgers mirrors, theyre unversial ones and fit quite well, they need making a little bit wider if you want them perfect, no biggy there though

Suppose its best to get some then just make them fit someway!

Time to find some cheap ones then i suppose!!LOL

Cheers!!
