Modding existing body kit

I'm new to car modding, and have recently aquired a phase 1 N16. I've got a few questions about the mods I've been seeing around:

Getting the boot flushed. How would you go about doing that, and does anyone know how much it might cost?

The front lower grill is often modded to remove the middle line (example). They seem to make it so seemless, as if it was never there. Again, how would I go about doing this? It looks like something I might be able to do myself to save cost.

Finally, getting the bonet to look like this: flush bonet (notice the lower grill cut out again)

Would be awesome if someone can help or direct me to where I can find answers. Cheers!

Ed

boot - think you get a plate and mould it in or you may just stick a bunch of filler and smooth it - don't know

frnt end you just cut the supports and then fibre-glass in the holes and smooth it out

bonnet - two metal plates smoothed in

Those grill parts can be ordered from SK Tuning.de but i cant be arsed converting the euro currency bollocks... K-Tec Racing (Renault Specialists) they supply SK Tuning stuff so maybe you can twist their arm to get them in for us all :D

Them bonnets in my opinion are horrendous - bad boy bonnets are just gay...
Save up and get a custom carbon fibre one...

for the boot a metal plate is welded in to the recess about 5-6mm shy of the overall depth. this is then skimmed smooted with filler. have been quoted anywhere from 100-250 quid on my n15 and my previous car so i never bothered. hope this helps.

for starters, dont listen to tall paul on bad boy bonnets, the almera n16 has an aggressive lookin front end and really suits bonnet extensions. they really are the dogs doods. by the way, the links dont work.

my opinion the bonnet curved looks way better than standard

don't know what this is about, i thought you were referring to the lower part you wanted to look like this

you basically cut away the parts you don't want. Patch up with fibre glass and you're sorted

Yeah thats the thing I'm after shakey. Patching up fibre glass is something I've near even gone near. I'd probably have to go somewhere to get it done. Prices?

Btw, love the front of you N16 Shakey. The mesh grill look is what I've been pining for too. My Almera is still stock in every way, so I'll post photos a lot latter, once mods have been made. First things first though, I'm going to squeeze more BHP out of my 1.5 engine ;)

LoL chill winston! As stated i said "in my opinion" so im not dictating what he should or shouldn't get done - his car his choice :)

Yeah TallPaul, I've seen those grills from MS Design. I'm definetly going to get them, or at least buy some mesh and work out how to fit it in.

Actually, skakey, how did you fit mech to your lower grill? I see you even have it in place of fog lights... looks nice ;)
