MOT fail

can anyone suggest anything to help bring emissions down shakira fail MOT this morn on just this one thing.
Im cleaning air filter as i type this then going to get fuel injection cleaner into her,anything else?

Clean the MAF sensor

Likely to be faulty lambada sensor or cat.

Check exhaust is not blowing before sensors. That buggered my emissions last time.

Get the cat hot too, take it for a nice long spirited drive to get the catalyst's working and as above too

Thanks guy to be honest ill probably try each and every one of these,with cleaning the maf i just undo the 2screws ontop and use carb/brake cleaner and a tiny brush on the wire yeah???
Would a pulsar maf work a mates got a spare i could try?

dip the lambda sensor in petrol / lighter fluid and light it to burn off any coking on it Do not use a wire brush mate then wipe off any excess residue with a cloth

Don't physically touch the wire, just spray it clean

Right figures time
Natural idle= 0.077 pass limit 0.500 = pass

second fast idle
CO=0.831 pass limit 0.300 = fail
HC=186 pass limit 200 = pass
Lambda = 1.085 min limit 0.970 max 1.030 = fail

Fast idle test
CO = 1.017 pass limit 0.300 = fail
HC = 146 pass limit 200 = pass
Lambda = 1.098 pass limit min 0.970 max 1.030 = fail

So ive just change Lambda sensor old one not working properly/secondhand one working
cleaned air filter and Maf also put injector cleaner in,being rechecked in the morning so fingers crossed.
Do these numbers help Liam they mean nothing too me.

great news straight through this morning,
co = 0.30
hc = 60
lambda 1.030 which is the max
