Completley standard for now, thanks to Alex_GTi for the car, its completely sound, no problems what so ever. I am however going to get the bodywork touched up here and there and probably get a full respray in that colour as the front end is badly stone chipped. It handles really well, and there is enough power in the engine for me! The interior is absolutley immaculate, im well chuffed with the car!

U got a lid on your centre console!!!!
 
Its deffinatley faster than my sri was, and over 70 it wants to go and go! I think the suspenision is stiffer than my sri was, and the interior is nicer, i love the dials. Oh I know, that was one of the things I really wanted :O Not many of them have a lid on the center console I dont think.
 
Theres a major difference when driving up hill that I noticed compared to the 1.6

Around 70mph on motorway, a slight hill you would lose speed where as the GTi keeps going. Thats little more pulling power makes a difference!

Yesterday we painted the rocker cover and strutbrace, my mate has a sandblaster and propper paint gun, so we did them in his garage. Im very very pleased with the way they turned out, especially cos he did it for free, I just had to buy the paint!!

The colour is a result of 2 seconds decision in tesco carpark, and extra metalic, i have to say, i LOVE the colour, and im tempted to get the car done in it when i get the coilovers, exhaust and wheels etc.

Im going to have to sort the rest of the engine out now because they look sorta out of place, so roll on the mods lol.
 
looks lovely, i think the next thing needed is a metal piped induction kit with blue hoses :D . also, may wanna change your name :lol:

what did you spray it with looks awsome???? iv got a rocker cover sat in my room waiting to be painted im just abit lazy lol
 
Went down to a local auto parts place that mixes paint, its called advanced.

I got 1/2 a litre of car paint, it was a ford blue with extra metalic in it. My mate has a propper compressor etc so he painted it as you would a car with a paint gun or what ever its called.
 
The rocker cover looks well sweet and yeah cant believe youve modded it so quickly.
 
Thanks alot mate, I dont know weather to spray them wheels a gun metal colour when I get the coilovers, or just leave em lol, cos its gona be a while til i can afford the 18"'s.

Ill see what my mate is up to again ;)
