Hello,

I've only just registered, but its for a very good reason!

I have a almera gti and recently the doors keep randomly locking themselves while going along and also when I press the red button on the fob to lock the doors i always end up doing it twice before it locks.

Please Help!!

lol. theres no link. look at the blue bar near the top of the page. click the search button then type in central locking.

For some reason, i wasnt allowed access to a certain part of the site.

Can anyone help me, by leaving a post??

Cheers

you have to be a member to view certain sections. its to do with the door solenoids getting damp. its a common problem.

Cheers Andrewb,

And also where can i get original almera gti side skirts from?

you should be so lucky. originals are very rare. well today is your lucky day. theres a guy call corbs and his got a pair in red. they need a little but of work doing to make them mint but they are very cheap. check out the for sale section or private message him.

Cheers mate  yeah I've got a pair for sale in red, so you wouldn't have to respray them! The only bit that needs fixing is a little bit on one of the ends which has split, but can be fixed with a bit of DiY fibreglassing. They could be on your GTi for £45! Let me know if you are interested ;)

welcome to aoc mate, if i were you'd i'd go for corbs skirts.. they are rare, plus they're red so you dont need to spray them as mentioned above..
enjoy the forums mate
