I almost sold it due to money probs a few months back but managed to get round it and keep the car and now i love it more than ever!

I'm not really into thrashing it down a drag strip, call me a girly but i just love to have a mint car that i really look after and just take out for a spin every now and then.

no cos the engine bay is the only thing that lets it down at the mo lol. I always get my engine bays steam cleaned but not many valeters will do it now cos of the risks involved, i no a company that does it but they are not that local so its just getting the time to get the car over there during the week.

Someone has painted bits like the strut brace and powersteering pot in silver paint and its all flaking off and looks nasty so i try not to take any pictures of that part! It has got nice samco hoses and a nice chrome air feed tho!

Thanks for your comments m8

looks very shiny and clean mate,

there's nothing girly bout having a mint car thats used now and again- mines practicallty the same clean and hardly moves.

looks brilliant mate! and to think you were going to sell it! :D

cheers guys, i'v hade 3/4's of the car re-sprayed so its got a nice finish. Just the bloody rear arches are starting to bubble up now but they are the only marks on it really. Had the front bumper stone guarded so no nasty bumper chips for me!

an thats no lie

My whole car does after overtaking a gritter, and now my engine bay is full of shite... bastards! Gonna clean it all out this weekend me thinks.

Also I meant to ask ages ago but forgot? What did you use to polish the car? Looks great!

i'm no expert on paint spraying so i dont really no! You dont want too much stone guard on because its a really rough bumpy finish so you wouldnt want it on anything other than your bumper as it would look awful. I think its used on trucks more than anything. I gather its just some special under coating they give it. Havent had a chip since its been on though so pretty pleased.

Thanks for your comments on how clean the car is- believe it or not i took these pictures just before i polished it, i had just washed it before the pictures were taken and thats it. I polish it every time i clean it though so it always shines. Its also shiny because most of the paint work is newly sprayed. The polish i use most the time is one called MUCK-OFF which i got for free cos i no the guys down at the Yokohama factory and they disstribute the brand.

Cheers dude- you dug up an old post here! I love it too- treatin it to yet more bodywork in the next few weeks so should be even minter! Gettin a few small dents taken out and havin the rear arches taken back to the metal and re-sprayed

Looks fantastic!

But one thing I don't like on your's & few other's cars... rear lamps surrounds in the same colour as the body...

Black rims rulezzzzz!
