My beloved N16 1.8L Sport has a rough idle...any good garage in SW London?

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, I hope you can help me.

My Nissan Almera N16 1.8L Sport from 2001 has developed an issue. It's been brilliant until now. The car has a rough idle, and on occasions it struggles to start. The battery is almost new. The ride has become quite rough too, I can feel when accelerating that it's not as smooth as it's used to be. The issue gets slightly better when I accelerate.
I was wondering if you could recommend a good garage in the Putney / Richmond area of London?

Quick update, I took my car to a good local garage, they removed the egr valve, cleaned out and refitted, car seems brand new now!

Can anybody explain what happened? Is this part of regular maintenance?

Never really noticed it hindering performance on a petrol before. Usually diesels clog them up. Glad it's sorted though Parajba the rapper!
