Christ!!

I've really warmed to the idea of fast diesels, and I've always liked those Fabia vRS and Seat Ibiza PD130s that share the same 130bhp engine. Pretty huge grunt, plus 45+mpg. With 200+bhp and probably still more than 35mpg, it sounds even better!

Just couldn't have a diesel anytime soon. I know it's slightly different but my 1.7td Astra Van, is horrendus to drive anywhere other than the motorway.

The lag is dangerous at rounabouts and junctions. And the 1,000rpm powerband gets annoying.

Suppose 320ft/lb is quite fun though.

Yeah they take a bit of getting into. Some are vastly better than others as well, the ones in the vans I used to drive were by Ford and were fantastic, not fast, but really eager and responsive...non-turbo diesels are usually exceptionally bad though...

Wheels look great on the GTiR. Haveyou thought of putting a Laguna splitter on the front bumper?

The Skoda looks smart.

impressed with the fabia, bet all that torque is addictive lol

as for the laguna splitter on the pulsar, dont bother if your planning on dropping it more than 40mm, mine scrapes at any decent speedbump.

tried persuading my mum to get the fabia vrs as company car........ they gave her a corsa :(

My mate smee has the 1.9pd seat ibiza cupra 160bhp standard and remapped too 188.1bhp @ 298.6lbft, which is quite good for a standard car with no mods except the remap, we did have it @ 200bhp but it smoked too much for his liking so we dropped it down
