My First Almera

Just a quick note to say Hello (my name is Duncan) I have been on the forum a while looking for an Almera, finally found one on Ebay. Its my first Almera, its a 99 T plate GTi in black with 2 owners 74K miles, here's a few quick pics:-

Its got a K&N (which I have to take off for insurance and as Girlfriend thinks its too loud :( ), Cat back Janspeed Exhaust and its been chipped, I have only had it since Saturday but well impressed and it is very Quick :) .

Just also wanted to ask is it worth becoming a full member, I previously had a focus and was a paid up member of the FFOC (Focus Owners Club) as the How to & Technical sections were very good and very helpful, so I was wondering if the sections that only members can use are worth seeing

nice looking mera' mate and i'd say it was a good price for 1750.

as for your induction kit and insurance, have you thought about getting a replacement panel filter? basically its the same as your standard nissan air filter(fits in the airbox) but allows more air in, doesnt make any noise or anything, might be worth investing in one!

as for membership, i've just paid up for my second year, and i have to say it is worth it if you have difficulties or anything with your car. the how to sections are quite useful aswell and alot of problems and topics have been covered in the restricted areas!
 
yeah nice mera for the money damn means mine is worth pennies! lol

nah defo worth being a full memeber as someoen who let his membership slip you really do miss it when you need to know something the forums are full of good info just search or ask and you will not be dissappointed even if you don't always agree with everyone on here or oh is that just me? lol
 
thats a bargain mate I wanted a T or V plate SRi with 59 k on the clock they wanted £2,200 for it (i thought it was a bit over price but it had a body kit and was tropical green which is rare)
 
i emailed for this was going to buy it but the fact its chipped etc put me off, and i found a dif 1 :P he said to me he would accept but 1600 but he was holding out for 1750 :) so good for you both. also pointed it out to MattMera :rolleyes:
