What year is it ??
If it's a P10, P11 or P11-144, that covers 1990-2002 then you can only get the third link from the dealer (I think it's around £140) but you can buy the bearings and seal from most bearing suppliers.
Ebay also has a kit for it with the bearings and seal.

yeah he said it was around 140 pound said he had to buy the hole unit
I have seen ones so worn that the third link is actually worn on the inside where the bearing is pressed in so if it's really bad then he may need to got one, or get one from a scrappy to fit the new bearings to.
Also, sometimes the bearings seize onto the kingpin and have to be cut through with a grinder or similar.
