Thanks to Rick for getting me it and fitting it.
Before anyone thinks we took lights/grill off to fit a splitter we didn't, we took it off cause had to take bumper off to re-align it and thought we'd fit spiltter while it was off. Fits perfectly.

Looks nice, Your can needed it as well was always missing something at the front. Good stuff. C ya on sunday!!

Matt

yeah your right Matt, was easily missing something from the front, now just missing something on rest of the car. lol

Looks mint fella. Is it a Laguna jobby? They seem to fit most cars, and are a great cheap mod. When i modified my P10eGT with a splitter, i found that the back needed the something to brnig the balance back. How does it look side on?

It is from a laguna mate and it's a spot on fit. No cutting/trimming required at all!! probably one of the cheapest/most noticable mods out there.

It does sit lower at the front and sideskirts/rear splitter would finish it off nicely. Eh Chris??

i put one on mine a few weeks back, was unsure of it at first because every chav has got one but for £5 i couldnt say no, think it sets off the front of the car perfectly now so im glad i got it. the front is lower than the sides obviously and with sideskirts and a rear splitter it would pull it off perfectly, but tbh nobody has mentioned it looking wierd as it is, will have to see what people think at J.A.E.

have you caught it on anything yet? mines caught a few times, wont go up my mates drive without catching and it nearly catches on mine, even though both drives arent really sloped, only a piece of rubber though, would hate having a GTi splitter and catching that on something

haha yeah rick ;)
nah havn't caught it off anything yet, only been on few days and brakes were fucked so been in drive/garage. what your's held on by?

looks good matey... just been getting myself some P2 GTi headlights, guessing you can remove em without taking the wings off then?

drilled a hole exactly in the middle of the splitter and used a nut and bolt through the hole directly in the middle of the bumper then used self tapping screws on it, meant to take the nut and bolt out tbh as they were only there so i knew it was central but they can only help to hold it on. been on about a month now i think and it hasnt moved even though its had the odd little knock.

needed to cut a fraction of an inch off each end of mine so i cut the finishing pieces off the splitter and glued them back on so it looks like it belongs there a bit, obviously the different shapes of the p1 and p2 bumper are quite a bit different.

so the laguna splitter fits perfectly onto a P2 bumper? might consider this instead of a P2 splitter.

It certainly does, well the one i got for Chris did.

Is any Laguna splitter in the uk actually attatched to a Laguna anymore? Looks really good mate, very tidy.

Dunno, but most of the Laguna's must be in the scrap yard beside me though!!
