Took my mate through to newcastle to pick up his new celica so decided to take some pics on the way back, its an st205 super-strut, my gti kept up with it no problem tho

cheers mate, he kept going on how it had more bhp but on the duel carriageway it seemed to keep level with him up until about 100 wen it slowed down abit
i dont actualy know how much my gti is lowered by or what make the sprigs are, the guy i bought it off just said it was lowered so who knows.... im still debating weather i should save for coilovers to drop it a bit more :/

That celicas got a god damn ugly front end on it. I'd swap for the GT4 bumper every day of the week. Looks odd with no skirts too.
U got any engine mods?
A 205 SS2 Celica (170bhp) should win relatively comfortably over the GTi from about 80mph. Celicas are like the GTi in that all the power comes from 4+ and goes almost all the way to the redline.

Is it just me or is there something missing from that celica? front end looks really plain, almost Honday Integra like? Or am i just too used to seeing GT4's
yea it does look fairly plain, he says hes gonna get new bumpers nd skirts but he changes his mind lyk the weather! plus it failed on loads of stuff today hahahaha

nar i dont have any big mods as such just the usual k&n, taken the cat off it and splitfire plugs, yer i have noticed all the power in the top end like you said
Thanks year it was the crackle finish but i had to laqure it afterwards aswel because oil and dirt ground into it and couldnt clean it without making it look s**t so now i cn wipe it clean but still have that effect
