my phase 1 gti

bee on here a while and thought it was about time i did a write up on my gti,
i brought it in aug last year with 79500 miles, totaly stock with only a little rust on the back arch

first thing i did was get a set of phase 2 rear light,headlights and indicators

then i got myself a cat back exhaust,blitz air filter,and ssauto manifold and downpipe, then i decided the exaust was bit to much so i got a janspeed system very very nice.

i lowered it on apex springs i got of my mate vast improvement handels very good now,

then i thought i better do the brakes so i got a set of groved disc's and green stuff pads for her,stops a treat now

i also picked up a set of kent cams nice a cheap put these in and i like got a fair bit of go now

the final thing i have done is a cosmic racing shortshifter shorted the gear chage nicely,

Agreed clear side repeaters will go well with the deglobing! Very well looked after GTi.

lowere 35-40mm on just springs mate

I have no car knowledge whatsoever so could someone please enlighten me, what are those metal pipes going from front to back of the engine bay for, coz they look quite cool and I'v seen them on a few cars on here

Lol its just the aircon piping mate

On phase 1s you generally get either an aircon or sunroof model, phase 2s tend to have both.

defo some non gti phase 2 front lights would look mint with the colour scheme
