as stage 2 is begining- SR20DE conversion, loads of bits coming for it ill not bore people unless they want to know.

Thought??

Good luck with your conversion. I am guessing that with the 2 litre engine in there, there will not be much room left to put the battery as well which is why it is in the boot.

Looks like you could do with a slightly bigger garage too. Not much room to move around in there.

good luck with that! hope your ready to do alot of cutting  and relocating

Keep us posted bud , wanna keep my eyes on this , may have some parts for ya down the line at some point :)

good luck with the project mate hope it goes well as i'd love to see the end result !
how did you get out of your car when you parked it in the garage ? lol

i tell a lie the SR Doesnt drop straight in i need to make a couple new mounts but thats bout it. i climed out the passengers side door! lol

Battery to the boot was done for two reasons, firstly weight distribution, its stripped out at the back and moving nesesary weight to the back evens up the balance. also where iv put it counters me sitting in the drivers seat.

Secondly i need to put the Air filter for the SR there! lol

what power does the almera SR20 have as standard? iv heard it varies?

hmmm so with a turbo kit some internal bits a good re-map i could see 200-250. that'll be enough me thinks the car weighs about 700kg's

Theres a turbo'd gti on here, si2001, ran 233bhp with gti-r turbo iirc at a place in Chesterfield!

you'd be hard pushed for room to get an intercooler in the i rekon ! it'll be stupidly fast even with a standard SR20 in there anyway !

Aye...i keep telling him this but he won't listen... ;)

personally i don't reckon the Micras chassis will support 200-250bhp without stengthening etc...and 14" wheels...traction could be a nice little problem... :D

but i'm saying nowt more...go for it fella...you know i'm behind you...well not literally...easy tigers!
