n e one here from or near lincoln??

Im from lincoln any one here from nera by as i need an opinion on the front end on my almera. What it is is the drivers side head light is slightly pushed back due to damage caused by the previous owner. This has made the bonnet slightly overhang the grille and headlamp on the drivers side by about an inch or so making it look like its on the piss from up close at a distance isnt as noticable.
Will i need to do seroius work like changing the front pannell or do you recon it is easily and CHEAPLY fixable??
PLEASE HELP I AM DESPARATE cos my baby looks poorly :( .
thank you!!

You could try removing the headlight and bumper, and pulling the mounting plate out, from memory it's fairly malleable, or try and make some spacers for the headlight.

my first one was just as you described, the top part of the front panel, where the headlights mount is pretty soft, so give it a tug and see what happens :)

I'd say that the two bolts just inside the idicator should hold the outside of the headlight in line ok, but the two that are off the back of the headlights have two nuts goin onto them. Where they go through seems quite prone to rusting and this could cause them to move slightly. I only bring this up as i noticed mine today when removing them. Could be an idea to weld a small plate in a drill holes. Just a thought.

cheers mate

thanks mate.

Have a search for 'removing front bumper' or similar on here, there are quite a few bits that need to come out. Beware of bolts snapping too.

cheers mate

I'll ave a look at that tomorrow thanks.
When you say inside the indicator did you mean behind it ???

When you remove the indicator, small philips screw on corner on to of headlight then pull(it'll just pop out), you'll see two bolts going into the side of the headlight.

Thankyou everyone

Thank You Every One I Really Apreciate Your Help !!!
Any More Suggestions Would Be Great As The More Things I Try The Bigger The Chance Of Me Sorting It Out.
Thank You So Much.

quick tip, i wouldnt go bashing at it with a mallet as you could twist it even worse as its quite soft, compare the straight side to the damaged side and look for any folded/kinked metal, simpy straightening a bend would pull it straight, once youve tapped it out a bit trial fit the headlight again, little by little is my advice.
