someone go have a look very good chances are it's a real n1

Yip, it is a genuine N1.

The ECU was faulty and was not activating both camshafts.

The owner of the garage that I used to build the cars in bought it off EBAY about 4 years ago for £1500. He repaired it to a seriously high quality, and I mean absolutely spotless.

We also stuck in a NISMO LSD and as he said, the handling was very good, but it was gutless on the road.

We rigged the camshafts to switch at the same time and instructed the new owner (the current owner) to purchase a Greddy MSS to rectify the fault, but I don't think he ever did.

He then crashed the car, badly and wrecked the o/s/f of the car, inc. wheel, tyre, strut (NISMO one).

It was then taken to a garage called Hypertech and they installed two stock VZR (also known as GTi) struts, a new set of wheel and tyres and I think it was painted again.

The owner then broke it again when doing burnouts and snapped the o/s driveshaft.

It then sat outside the garage at Hypertech for ages as they couldn't get a new shaft.

I popped in one day to pick up a replacement element for my HKS air filter and noticed it was there still.

I asked what the problem was and they told me the issues they were having with the shaft. I told them to get a stock Almera GTi shaft and carrier bracket.

'You can't do that' said the mechanic, sorry, mecomic.

'Why not?' I said.

'It's not an Almera GTi, it's a Pulsar' he said.

I asked him to stick it on the ramp so that I could show him the mounting holes on the back of the block.

'Is that what they are for' he said.

'Eh, aye bud, that's exactly what it's for.'

2 words....FU**ING AMATEURS!!!

If you look carefully, you can still see damage on the o/s side skirt.

They actually came off my red GTi, but they were not in that condition.

Hope this helps!

Cheers

Dave
