N15 1.6 saloon compatible with GTi parts?

hi guys just bought a 1.6 4 door with sr20 in and as far as im aware its just the drive shafts, gear box, and engine plus ecu and what not already in i was wondering are the gti and 4 door bits interchangeable i.e drop links ,suspension, and what other bits plz help me as i now have the best of both worlds and want to make it a good one just need pointing in the right direction
 
nah m8 made the mistake of selling and getting an mb6 vti but missed the almeras too much then seen this conversion for peanuts so bought it needs a bit of work but has alot of potential lol guna be looking for sum bits if ya got owt m8
 
i posted in the mech bit it just seems to be hestitating/bogging down when i press loud pedal and it comes and goes but constant if ya know what i mean
 
yh throttle cable seems a bit slack as for the sills he said he had them done but my local mech will charge 80 quid a side so not on top of todo list lol need it running right first bought a full service kit inc fuel filter plugs an oil and what not and goin to replace fuel pump to make sure as its a tidy little thing really just needs some love
 
lol no offence to your mate but the bumpers and front wing are a bit gash like but 10-12 months with me ill have her tip top
 
I sold Lee all the bits for the conversion and a few other bits. The engine came out of a ph3 gti with decent mileage and if i remember correctly I think the speedos out the same car too. The bumpers are off Stu-Es old car.
 
yh dont get me wrong the engine and box are near spot on just needs a good service and a fuel pump to bring engine back on board but since this is my first conversion ive owned just getting used to all the wires and pipes from old chassis not being used lol will keep plugging away as i love almeras like the next lol but reckon it will be with me for a while until a near minter gti turns up lol
 
there is a pipe on top of the intake manifold with a srew pushed in ( cowboy) and theres 1 coming off the gear box that doesnt lead to anything also near the gear box coming from fire wall way theres 2 that come from underneath towards engine but go no where
 
The two pipes went to a carbon filter which was removed due to not being needed the one on top with a screw in it mines the same so it got left as is, as for the one on the gearbox no idea what that was for as mines same think it went to carbon filter , the engines fine it took a while to setup when it was first put in but lee was running for months without any hassle
 
All the pipes your referring to I believe use to connect to the carbon canister, which are not need. Have a quick look at shaggy masters old thread, then you'll understand.
 
dont get me wrong the engine and gearbox are fine the surging is probably down to the fuel pump got a walbro 1 coming and just cleaned throttle body new oil and filter and spark plugs along with fuel filter so should be fine once pump is in
