N15 GTI alloy question

Will 17" alloys fit on without any difficulty as i have seen a rather nice set i fancy and its near enough as cheap to buy them with tyres as it is to replace all the knackered tyres on my newly aquired gti

yes, providing they are the correct PCD, offset and centre bore.
