I've got Ph2 GTi suspension all round at the moment, and I've got Ph1 rears coming to replace my knackered current rears. Will the Ph1 rears be lower than the Ph2 ones? And will I have any problems running different phase suspension front and rear for a long period of time?

Should be the same height wise as long as they are both GTi items, and not base model ones.
And you should be ok running the setup you mentioned.
I think there isn't a great difference in the shocks themselves, the differences lie more in the spring seats, which isn't of huge relevance.

Nice one cheers, yeah both GTi bits.
Surely on non-GTi cars with GTi suspension the front is a little higher, what with it having a lighter engine?

difference in weight i should imagine is marginal with the GA being cast iron and the sr20 being ally
