N15 Sri Brake caliper upgrade (GTI) ?

Hi,

Does anybody know if the front GTI calipers will fit on my SRi?

My disks are on the minimum and one is starting to crack, the pads were supposidly changed shortly before i bought the car 6 months ago so im looking to uprate the brakes, dont realy want to fork out for the FTO calipers as its only a 1.6 but just need more performance out of them.

GTi brakes are a straight swap onto the SRi mate yeah, I've done the swap on mine..
You'll need to use the GTi caliper, disc and pads.
You may also have to trim the dust cover behind the disc down to clear the new, bigger caliper.
