N15 - where do they rust

With the sun coming out:cool:, I thought of waxing all those know places that the N15 goes rusty.:evil:
I did a search to see if anyone had every done a full list of known rust places.
I can see that the back wheel arches are one place, but is that because the mud & salt have not been washed off or is it a design fault?:rolleyes:
 
Here's a quick list mate:
Front and rear arch lips,
All across and under the sills,
All under the boot linings in general, look especially at the rear seatbelt mounting points, rear shock mounting points and the spare wheel well,
Beneath rear number plate/ or plate surround if you have one,

The underside of the bonnet (various areas of the skeletal framework),the main area being around the latch, having a non-standard grille makes it worse (I de-rusted & hammerited mine 3 - 4 weeks ago, & it`s started coming back :mad: ).

Also around the door & bootlid drain holes.
 
Back arches – am I correct in saying that they rust because water/salt is getting in between the two skins of metal, especially on the little box section at the back?
