N16 2005 Engine starting problem

My wife have Almera 2005 and she never had issue with this car. On last Friday, she couldn't start a car at the morning. Symptoms are that when I try to start engine everything dims, start motor try to start but it's can't and all doors locks are making like a "lock" (like I will press lock or unlock button on remote control). And nothing happen.
I'm not mechanic so I have no experience, but I'm quite skilled guy with 2 hands ;)
First I blamed battery, but I tried to do jump start and this same issue. Next I fought that this is start motor. So today I removed start motor and test it using jump cables connecting them to solenoid and after use screwdriver to start motor. Motor started straight a way.

So can be wrong ????

I was reading that It can be bad ground or immobilizer or something more.
How to check bad ground ? Get another (test) connection from negative battery terminal to car (engine) body ?

Any suggestions welcome.

EDIT: I did test with connecting minus from battery to engine body but no luck :(

I would check the battery with a multimeter. If battery is to too flat to spin over the engine fast enough then it wont start, also when the door solenoids are operating it is also a symptom of a flat battery.

It's not a immobilizer fault as nothing would go dim etc,it would just cut fuel /spark to the engine.

It can potentially happen if the battery is fucked enough to not hold much of a charge, but something like that wouldn't happen overnight.
Wouldn't hurt to still measure it though to rule it out. then next port of call would be check all major connections and check for shorts that could be draining the battery.

Yep, and this exactly happen in my case. Even if I charged battery and after try it won't start.
I swapped to new battery and is working now. Quite strange that it didn't work on jump cables from my 2nd car.

Thanks guys for help !!!!
