Am new to almeras ........... i've just bought a 2002 almera 1.5 E.
Getting used to it and it goes well and handles well. 81000 on the clock.
Only problem is the airbag light is flashing.
I've tried resetting it with the turning ignition on and off 6/7 times following the various instructions on youtube but it wont reset.
So there must be a problem.
I've started to dismantle centre consol and fascia to get to ecu and airbags.
So far I found there is no passenger airbag (is this normal with a 1.5E?).
The ecu is under the centre consol but looks a bugger to get to.
Havn't got to drivers airbag yet.
My idea is ti get replacement ecu and driver airbag from another almera............... is this the best way to sort it??
