N16 Caliper, pads, and disc needed.

As above, seems the caliper has died and damaged the pads and disc, does anyone know a few good sites to get parts from (the caliper is the main part i need) besides fleabay?

They are for a 1.5 5 door hatchback Almera, 2001, any help would be great thanks.
 
check if it has ABS or not

ABS uses a 280mm disc
Non abs uses a 256mm disc.

I would try ebay for disc and pads as they are really cheap from there. if not try your local parts place :-)

I can't be arsed with Black Diamond they are not that great I heard. I never used them my mate just said there not that great. I got my discs from ebay for about 70 quid get some good EBC Pads on there.

I never brought from this guy but if you have ABS then this is the one not just that when I brought them it was from a seller called m-tec I think. they uses Dephli discs so its fairly good quality.

oh yeah my mate with the Stagea had a Track EG before and he had loads of problems with EBC discs (turbo grooved) he sent 3 sets back on warranty as they warped not just that he was using EBC Yellow stuff pads to match the disc
 
Its ABS alright, its the caliper im really interested in trying to get online as Nissian have quoted around the 400-600 euro mark to replace it!
 
As darren said, standard discs will suffice. And yellow stuff pads will be your best bet if your wanting upgrade parts.

If not, ebc ultimax or mintex xtreme pads are reasonably priced....iirc about £20 a set :)
 
I dont want to upgrade the pads or the discs!

I just need to replace the caliper on the front left as its damaged, I dont want to pay Nissan for a new one from them as they are too dear, was hoping someone on here might know where I could get a new one at a good price.
 
Yes i believe that one would fit.

The only thing i dont know is if theres a difference between ABS and non-ABS calipers. If not then this one will be fine :)
 
Just off the phone from Nissian, they say she needs to replace the front passenger side caliper, pads, and disc. They want to charge €325 for the parts, which arent even offical Nissian parts, they are from a spurious supplier as they said the the nissian parts would be way too dear!!
I can get the same parts in the UK for €142 delivered so I'm going to do that and Nissian will fit the parts I supply, he said he would charge €80 to fit. So all in (including the diagnostic, parts supplied by me and labour to fit it ends up being around €322 which is less that what he wanted just for the parts!

Rip off Ireland is alive and well!!!! Thanks lads for your advice.
