Hi every one
Having a few problem's with my 2004 dci wich up till sunday never let me down. I went out sunday morning glowplug light goes off tried to start but it just turned over . I went eventualy an was fine until monday night after work when i had to get the aa out.while ibwas waiting my work mate see me an come to look we jumped it of his twin battery land rover an heard the drain on a 2.5 disco with alternater belt squeal! They aa guy checked the battery during cranking we got 9.2 volt's but battery test come up knackered.
So i went into work an got a new one he checked it to make sure was good then checked all earth lead's with a tester all good. It's been spot on since until tonight after work again :/ glow plug relay click's when the light goes out no obvious sign's or smell or a diesel leak . Only thing i spotted was slight dampness on the diesel filter an tge metal cover round it on the bulk head . Only thing i could think off is drawing in air at the filter? Im well an truely baffled with it :s appriciate any help or advice
Thank's mark
