N16 ns rear suspension dropped slighty, possible causes?

When stationary my 52 plate dark red (burgundy) 5dr Almera family car looks like a classic rally car taking a right bend at speed. The rh front corner is up, whilst the lh rear corner is down. Compared to the rh rear its dropped about an inch and half. I looked underneath and the coil was sitting out of the cup, so jacked it up and re-seated it. That halved the drop to about 3/4 inch, but it still noticeable to look at and and to drive, (feels wallowy taking right hand corners). Any suggestions as to the possible causes? Many thanks for your advice.

Weak shock absorber would lead to excessive rolling when cornering as would sagged coil spring plus a lower ride/arch height which you may have.

If you have either or both are knackered, always replace them in pairs ie both sides of the car.
