N16 Tekna 1.8 - newboy!

Hi all,
1stly - I live in Italy...and having just bought the Almera I appear to have the only one in the country!!!

2ndly - it is a h/b Tekna...which I can find no info on in www world.

3rdly - it is a great car! I picked it up yesterday having swapped a 3 legged Bravo JTD (plus a wadge of euros) for it, and have driven only 230km so far, but it is all good. Nice sound, good alloys, good interior...

4thly - my cd will not play. The hi-fi itself is fine except it only receives italian radio :( so I badly need a cd unit. Can I swap just the cy460 bit for something highstreet or does it have to be stock? Any thoughts?

5thly - no handbook! Anyone want to sell me a photocopy of theirs?????

Welcome to the forums matey!

The cd player should be easy enough to change, the only thing you may need to buy is a "fascia" so it fits flush and tidy with the current dash, and possibly a wiring harness to wire it in, but shouldn't cost too much :)

Welcome to the club post some pictures up and we will be able to help you depending on the year of the car and model you can change the radio
