need help should i buy a red mera??

hi guys theres a mera sri going on autotrader going for £1095 should i buy it its red??? the only thing im scared of is the paint work turning pink??? how could i get that sorted if it has??? or how could i prevent the paint from going pink???? i need all the advice i can get please guys thanks

If the paint work has been looked after then I wouldnt worry too much about it going pink.Dont think any out there are that bad really.I have had a lot of comments on how my red car looks well, really red A good wax usually sorts it out.

Is it worth it just for a colour though? black SRi's are quite rare compared to red mera's

If you like red I'd buy it.

a good t cut should sort out any problems if any. I've never had any probs with any red cars I've had.

About the red paint turning pink: never on a nissan! I've had a red SRi (P reg) & a red GTi (T reg) and both had stunning red like they just came out the showroom! Try comparing that with a Ford or Vauxhall red!!!

Honestly: Nissan Red is as red as you'll get, and it'll stay that way too.

had a red vauxhall corsa as a run around for a few months. and the paint work was pink, all over. gave it a good t cut and polish and it would be gleaming red like it should. 3 weeks down the line it would be back to pink and you'd have to repeat the process again. very dubious about red cars because before you sell it all you have to do is tcut it and and the buyer would be none the wiser.

Paid for it this morning and having it collected from S. Yorks at the start of next week (car transport to Inverness: I'm getting old and lazy like... LOL!)

Tell you how it looks end of next week, but I guess a red ph 1 SRi is just like any other red Ph 1 SRi... and pretty much like any other N15 Almera TBH, but it's still an N15 and that's the important thing!

That'll be the 4th N15 'Mera at my front door in the last 2 years: yah!

Still on the lookout for a low mileage GTi or maybe a VZR for early or mid next year too: just incase anyone knows of a really good example coming along in the next few months.......
