New and in need of help.

Hi all, busy selling my Honda Del Sol at the moment and we have seen an Almera.

Its a V reg 1.4 Ambition, 5 Door.

We've checked all the common faults and so on so forth, however there is a problem with the heaters which doesn't appear to be the usual working only on MAX. They don't work at all.

We didn't have the car running overly long, maybe about 5mins (don't know if that's valid or not).

The engine seemed sound as a pound.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Also, forgot to add, when the time comes, what's a rough price on sills etc if they were needed?

heater only working on speed 4, comon fault, will need heater resistor card new from nissan about £30 2 minute job to fit new one

sills not to sure depends how far gone they are as most ppl have them plated

Scott, they don't work at all. Might just be a fuse or switch?

I thought of that yeah, but I'm not sure the bloke would really appreciate us taking the car to pieces.

How strange, it could be something as simple as a disconnected or corroded wire...

whats the asking price on the car?

V reg, 61000 miles, blue, 5 door, £945 asking price

power steering and all that lark, remote central locking, cd player, multi lock. etc.

Do the 3 switches light up when the headlights are turned on Sarah?

If not, the bulbs have probably gone.

It`s probably just a simple blown fuse, I can`t remember exactly where the blower fuse is, but there are 2 fuse/relay boxes under the bonnet (a small one in front of the battery & a bigger one in front of the power steering bottle) the main fusebox is below the steering wheel, to the right of the cubby hole above/in front of the drivers right knee.
