Hi all, just thought i should say hello.
I am on my second Gti and have to say i don't think i will ever have anything else! Even after 8 years of Gti ownership the little N15 keeps on surprising me.
I have just broken my last Gti, have a look on the for sale section.

Just broke my track prepped Gti so all its juicy bits will find their way onto the new whip (mostly suspension)

As for intended mods i have just bought a set of 17" OZ Polaris so as soon as i have finished the refurb they will be on. Ordered a quickshift (Graham Gooche Racing, £145)

Toying with the idea about fitting Blackbird carbs.
 
Yeah, wrapped 4 into 2 into 1, 2.5" Primary pipes, twin 2.5" downpipes into 3"
The new Almera has a Janspeed catback but when i transfer the manifold over i am going for a 3" with a single middle box, no backbox just a tail trim.
 
No problem pal, its totally sound, no blows. should be in a couple of weeks, need to clear the decks of all these spares!
 
cheers mate, mine's just starting to blow. it's not quite at chavvy, GT car, wannabe sound yet, but i'd rather it didn't get there :lol:
 
Custom manifold?

Im gonna go to a 3" system next year...but my downpipe+decat is only 2.5" so whether that will still be holding it back I don't know.
 
Yeah custom, bought 3 years ago from a mush in Texas, before all the cheap shit flooded the market! I paid £400! I suppose it depends how much power you have, 2.5" is going to flow freely up to at least 250bhp so...
When i first put my manifold on i could'nt believe the difference, really free revving.
