hi ya there im a proud owner of a gti almera s reg havent picked it up yet but cant wait!!! lol all the praise ive heard about them and how quick and reliable they are compared to the citroen ax gt ive just sold lmao!!!:)
 
thanx for the welcome!!! yeah the ax was cool but not fast enough ill try and get pics on here of both but the ax is on piston heads got a silly bonnet vent but was immaculate!!! lol !!! got to wait until weekend to get almera !!! any hot or rot spots to check for or problems before i part with my dosh!!!!!
 
My first car was an AX GT500. Very nippy but made out of tinfoil wrappers. You'll like the mera' much more fella, welcome along!

arches mainly, condition of filters will generaly give some idea into how its been looked after. check your normal stuff tyre wear, different treads all round etc etc.

the rust on arches has already been done!!! theres a tint bit on boot lid and above drivers door lock but the blokes gonna try and get it done before i buy it!!! and had new treads all round!!!
 
That sounds good.

Check for rust on the sills, and lift up the carpets in the boot to see if there is any around the rear seatbelt mounts, and the bottom of the suspension turrets.
 
defo check sills!! is it the bodykit model? if its got phase 1 kit on it check under the skirts cos it covers the sills and you end up with what i have ..... no sills

apart from that they fantastic motors
 
yeah it is the bodykit version m8 im gonna get it saturday at last!!!!
so what tuning can i do to my motors engine ????? and what site sells the parts cause i can find any!!!!:(

thanks for that m8 i went to get mine today and god dam it was rotten all over the worst ive ever seen on a 98 vehicle !!! unfortunately this has made me think again about an almera!!! thanx again

Because there arent many left now, which makes it more desirable in my opinion, a wolf in sheeps clothing :)
Good luck with it sure youll enjoy it, find a nice straight and give floor it 2nd gear gaurantee the smile factor!
