New GTi Owner

Hi Everyone,

I'm the proud new owner of a '97 GTi :D
I was pointed to the site from the previous owner who said you were a very knowledgeable bunch! ;)

I've got a few little questions about the car, should I fire away here in the Newbie section or in another forum. I want to keep the moderators happy :lol:

Welcome to the site. Who was the previous owner?

Try and put you questions in what you think the most appropriate section is. Beware, as you are not a paid up member after a day or so your post my get moved into a different area where the admin think it should be if you did post it wrongly and you may not be able to view it again. Anyway it is only £15 for the year and well worth it as any questions you have will probably be able to be answered by one of us here and you are then free to roam all the hidden boards on the forum.

By the way, where in Wales are you from? Not too many people from Wales on here.

I bought the car from Maesteg, and I live in Llandovery myself, some fantastic roads for driving around here :D

The car is almost standard so no real point in putting pictures up.
I'll put a new thread up on the general section with my questions.
