New Gti owner

Just thought I'd say a quick hello and post a pic of my new Gti. Its my 2nd, I had someone write my first one off last year. Will post some better pic's when I get chance.

Its got a powerflow custom exhaust and k&n on it, also 17" Wolfrace shadow's on it, and infinity 6x9's in back. other than that its staying as it is. All was done by previous owner. Oh it has a sparco gear knob and front splitter is missing as previous owner put on a new front bumper, he must has smashed then on speed humps!!

One thing I have notcied, the spoiler has lifted in the middle of the roof, my old GTI also did the same. Must be fairly common? Also Ive got a bit of rust on the arches to sort out, thats getting done this week. Will post more pic later in the weeks also.

nice one,I've got the dreaded arch rust as well mate.I got a quote for 160 for all 4 to be redone properly which isn't too bad a deal really :D
It is very common for this arch rust as well.Nothing that can't be sorted though hey ;)

Will let you know tomorrow, im going to two local bodyshops in the morning. I went to somewhere near my work but I think I was in the wrong place. I think they were used to Audi TT's, Porshe's and Merc's etc... They quoted £480+VAT :eek:

I'm hoping to get it done for £200 or less, failing that im sure I have a can of Hammerite lin my garage!!
